HydroMap LLC is a specialized engineering and software consultancy working at the intersection of GIS, hydrology, and software development. For more than twenty years, HydroMap has delivered technical tools, research infrastructure, and expert consulting for federal agencies, international programs, utilities, research groups, and private industry.
HydroMap was founded in 2002 and incorporated as HydroMap LLC in the State of Utah in 2026. The firm maintains long-standing collaborations with leading water-resources research groups and partners with an established network of engineering, academic, and legal specialists on a project-by-project basis.

HydroMap founded
HydroMap was founded in Utah as a specialized consulting practice focused on GIS, hydrology, and engineering software.
Federal & academic partnerships
Built long-running collaborations with the U.S. EPA Office of Research & Development, RTI International, Dewberry, and CUAHSI on open-source GIS and hydrologic information systems.
Hydroinformatics at scale
Expanded into operational water data services, National Water Model integration, and international water resources work including UN-FAO groundwater programs.
Software expert witness practice
Formalized an expert witness practice in software patent and GIS/hydrology technology litigation.
Incorporated as HydroMap LLC
Formally incorporated in the State of Utah as HydroMap LLC to support continued growth in software development and water-resources consulting.
